Office Manager and H&S Coordinator

About the role 
The Office Manager is a vital position within our Wellington team. Reporting to the Head of Support Services, this role will oversee and manage our health and safety processes, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office day to day. You’ll be looked to for support from the wider team and will be comfortable being across all of our office systems. Some of your responsibilities will be: 
  • Overseeing health and safety management for the team, including managing our register, completing audits, and maintaining relevant documentation 
  • Customer service and welcoming visitors at reception 
  • Coordinating onboarding for new staff members 
  • Organising events and arranging travel  
  • Keeping our office space looking great and ensuring supplies are well stocked 
  • Updating and managing our vehicle check lists and parking payments 
  • Processing and managing purchase orders and responding to queries 
About you 
You will bring a ‘can-do’ attitude with a natural ability to support and help your team. You’ll be professional in your approach and willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You will be able to pick up new skills quickly and will also ideally bring: 
  • An understanding of, and experience in, managing health and safety systems and initiatives within a similar organisation 
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar office management or administrative role 
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities 
  • A natural ability with technology 
  • Strong customer service skills and experience 
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • An organised approach to your work with strong attention to detail 
  • A collaborative, outcome focused, approach to teamwork
